Rawlins Church of England Academy is seeking to appoint an innovative and enthusiastic teacher of Religious Education with responsibility for Spiritual Reflection during Tutor Time to join our fantastic team and flourishing school. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to teach Religious Education to KS3, KS4 and A-Level (in the future) as well as a great love for the subject and a passion for teaching so that our pupils thrive.
Essential to this role are strong interpersonal skills and an ability to inspire both staff and pupils to reflect on their own spiritual development. You will need a range of skills (organisation and creativity) have high aspirations of yourself and of our pupils and be willing to constantly review and reflect on the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Leicestershire’s largest schools with currently over 1500 on role including more than 300 in the Post-16 Centre. We are an inclusive school having an ASD and a Moderate Learning Difficulties unit on site. There is a strong sense of community in the school, the village of Quorn and the surrounding areas with a committed parent support base. Teamwork is a key feature of school life.
