We are looking to appoint, as a maternity cover post, an excellent classroom practitioner with the ability to teach RE at KS3 and PSHE across Key Stages 3 – 4. The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject and able to inspire all students to reach their full potential in this important curriculum area. The Academy welcomes applications from both NQTs and more experienced practitioners. 

The school has a proven record of success at GCSE and A Level. In summer 2017, 84% of pupils gained A*-C/9-4 grades in 5 or more subjects with 84% of students also gaining a grade 4 or above in English and Mathematics (66% gaining grade 5 or above). The progress 8 measure rose from 0.27 to 0.37. 36% of GCSE grades awarded were at A*/A and 42% of pupils achieved the English Baccalaureate. At A Level 99% of pupils achieved A*-E with an average grade per candidate of a B-.
