Arden is a truly exceptional school at the heart of the community and the peak of academic excellence. Situated just minutes off Junction 5 of the M42 and only 3 miles from the town of Solihull, visitors are astounded by our confident and articulate pupils. The warmth and trust between teachers and students is exemplary, as is the constant drive to achieve maximum personal and academic potential.

In every way, the RE Department mirrors the aims and beliefs of the school. All staff work hard, supported by a committed management team, to provide a safe and encouraging environment for learning. Arden pupils love to acquire new knowledge and skills and our teachers relish the opportunity to deliver engaging, challenging lessons to committed pupils.

We are looking to appoint, as a maternity cover post, an excellent classroom practitioner with the ability to teach RE at KS3 and PSHE across Key Stages 3 – 4. The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject and able to inspire all students to reach their full potential in this important curriculum area. The progress 8 measure rose from 0.27 to 0.37. 36% of GCSE grades awarded were at A*/A and 42% of pupils achieved the English Baccalaureate. At A Level 99% of pupils achieved A*-E with an average grade per candidate of a B-.

The Academy offers CPD opportunities, childcare vouchers, pension and a cycle to work scheme.   Accolades include: International Schools Award, Healthy Schools Award, Careers Mark, Eco- Schools Award, and Safety Mark.
