About St Mary's RC High School 'A Specialist Science College'

St Mary's RC High School is a co-educational voluntary aided school based in Herefordshire for students aged 11-16. It is a Roman Catholic school. The school was founded in 1861.

It is federated with St Josephs RC Primary school in Ross-on-Wye. Sharing the same governing body and headteacher, the schools work closely together.

The school has high expectations of its students and its Catholic ethos permeates the school curriculum.

Pupils learn about love, compassion, hope, and forgiveness through worship, reflection and working together. The school wishes to promote a knowledge and understanding of religious issues whilst nurturing a sense of spirituality in each student.
