An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding teacher to join our thriving and successful Trust to teach Religious Education in KS 3&4 and Sociology in KS4 at Langdon Academy.
We’re fortunate in having a very strong team in place already, such that we now enter all KS4 students for GCSE RE and have been able to add Sociology to our options menu, leading to strong demand from students.
Langdon has consolidated its position as a very successful school, but that’s not enough. The other school within the Multi-Academy Trust (Brampton Manor Academy) is one of the highest performing schools in England and it is our collective responsibility to match that standard. Happily, with excellent staff in all departments, we’re making great strides forward and are now looking for an outstanding and ambitious RE / Sociology specialist to join us in that pursuit.
Langdon Academy is a large 4-16 school, with over 1700 students in the secondary phase, and is part of Brampton Manor Trust, along with Brampton Manor Academy (an outstanding 11-18 Academy).
This appointment is a golden opportunity to strengthen our team further with a new, talented and enthusiastic RE / Sociology specialist. If that sounds like you, we’d be keen to hear from you. You will be joining a team with outstanding colleagues and inspirational leaders who will support you through the next stages of your professional development.
The scale of Langdon, the fact that it also has a primary phase, and its membership of Brampton Manor Trust provides considerable opportunity for the continuing development of our staff. This post would suit a NQT or a more experienced colleague looking to broaden their experience. A TLR point may be available to take on additional responsibility within the department / school.
Please visit our websites at www.langdonacademy.org or www.bramptonmanor.org to apply and obtain further details about this role. All completed application forms must be sent by email to email@example.com.
Brampton Manor Trust is committed to the safeguarding of children. Enhanced DBS checks will always be carried out on new employees.
Please note: Interviews will take place on a rolling basis, as applications are received
