Required from September 2020: Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and inspiring Teacher of RE. The successful candidate will join a faculty who are passionate about the development of our young people. We place outstanding teaching and learning at the heart of everything we do and believe in every one of our young people receiving a diet of exceptional teaching in RE. The successful candidate will:
o Be an excellent classroom teacher who can inspire and excite pupils about their learning at all key stages.
o Have a good Honours Degree (or equivalent) in a related subject.
o Be confident in teaching RE up to GCSE (with the potential to teach specialism up to A Level.)
o Be confident with the use of data for tracking student progress.
o Demonstrate their ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, pupils and the local community.

o The progress made by the majority of pupils currently in the school is improving strongly and rapidly. Their progress is now good.
o Teaching is good. Teachers are knowledgeable about their subjects and most provide suitable stretch and challenge for pupils.
