This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified and enthusiastic part time (minimum 0.5) Teacher of Religion and Philosophy to join our vibrant academically selective school.  

The Department is thriving and highly successful, comprising 3 full time teaching staff and 1 part time. The R&P Department is well-resourced both in terms of equipment and teaching rooms. Our aim is for all students to be inspired by and enthusiastic about Religious Studies and Philosophy, to see the value and importance of learning about a variety of religious views and practices.

If you can inspire and lead students, deliver stimulating and intellectually challenging lessons that encourages them to think for themselves and to express their own views with confidence and clarity, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Founded in 1875, Haberdashers’ Girls’ School, Elstree is a leading independent day school for girls aged 4–18. The School’s academic results place it amongst the highest-ranked schools in the UK.
