The subject of Religion, Philosophy and Ethics is highly valued at Chulmleigh College.  All pupils study the subject to full course GCSE in key stage four and it is delivered as a discrete subject in key stage three.  The Head of Humanities plays a leading role in the county subject network for Religious Education and the department is well resourced.  GCSE outcomes in Religious Studies have been historically strong.  The department also leads on two annual church services held to observe Harvest Festival and Christmas.  Therefore the department not only contributes to the curriculum but the wider ethos of the college.
