We are seeking to appoint a dedicated professional who will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of students, instilling in them a love of the Religious Education..

The school is looking for an exceptional teacher who can create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for all pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities. 

The purpose and job description

·        To support and uphold the Catholic ethos and values of the School.

·        To positively contribute to fulfilling the mission of the School.

·        To meet and maintain the professional teaching standards commensurate with their role.

·        To work to raise expectations and standards within our community.

·        To promote a positive image of the School.

·        Be familiar with and implement the direction of the Religious Education Curriculum Directory

·        Support, encourage and develop the ethos of Respect, Understanding, Affection and Humour

We are a high achieving 11 -18 school with very good examination results.

We have received an Educational Outcomes award for being in the top 20 percent of schools in the country for progress. The School is a Teaching School and excellent professional development opportunities are available for colleagues in a forward thinking and creative organisation.
