The Directors and Governors of this highly successful Catholic Academy, a member of the Carmel Education Trust (a Multi Academy Trust), wish to appoint a Teacher of Religious Education.

Carmel College is proud to be a Teaching School, offering support and training for leaders across the region including Initial Teacher Training regionally, and the Archimedes Maths Hub. Through our Science Learning Partnership we aim to provide high quality CPD and training for the teaching of Primary and Secondary, FE Colleges and for science technicians at any stage of their career.
We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher who would relish the opportunity to teach RE in a Catholic College from KS3–5.
We have high aspirations for our students and staff and we invest heavily in professional development to enable staff to flourish, continually learn and develop and access Trust wide career opportunities.

Carmel College is a popular ‘Outstanding’ Academy which serves the Catholic community of Darlington and the surrounding area. The College is the lead Academy in the Carmel Education Trust, a multi academy trust comprising two secondary and four primary schools in the Darlington and Stockton Local Authorities.
