The Blandford School is a successful school with high aspirations for our students and is situated in the beautiful county of Dorset, 30 minutes from the beaches of Poole and Bournemouth and 40 minutes from the New Forest National Park.
With outstanding modern facilities and inspirational and dedicated staff where students are progressing well above the national average, we seek to appoint a Teacher of Religious Education, the post would suit either a newly qualified or more experienced teacher.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach Religious Education from Year 7 to GCSE and Philosophy at A Level. They will also support the delivery of the school’s Drugs and Sex and Relationships education programme. The department is well resourced and popular with students, it is situated in the wider Humanities faculty, who work well as a team supporting one another and developing the quality of Teaching and Learning.
The school boasts an excellent CPD programme, based on the latest research evidence to ensure that all teachers, no matter their level of experience are able to develop and improve. We are also focussed on ensuring staff well-being and pride ourselves on a supportive team approach.
