The Governors are seeking to appoint a teacher of Religious Education with effect from 1st September 2018. The ability to teach throughout Key Stages 3 and 4 is essential.
Our school has a strong ethos of high expectations where all pupils are inspired to achieve their potential. We are seeking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic classroom practitioner with a proven track record of high quality teaching across the full range of ability. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious and hard working person to develop their career in a rapidly transforming school where we ensure all members of our community live up to our mantra ‘be inspired, be excellent, succeed’.
A willingness to be involved in the religious life of the school and extra-curricular activities is expected. Applications from newly qualified teachers are welcomed.
Application forms and further details are available from the Headteacher’s Personal Assistant, Mrs K Leigh, to whom they should be returned by 9.00am on Monday 4th December 2017. Interviews will take place later that week.
The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo pre-employment checks. Safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed. This post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
