The governors are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Religious Education to join our highly successful RE department.
We are looking for:
- A practising Catholic
- Excellent teaching skills
- Willingness to contribute to the wider Catholic life of the school
- Enthusiasm and a desire for continual improvement
- Excellent attendance record
- A background in Theology would be a real asset but is not essential
- You would be expected to teach KS3 and KS4 with an opportunity to teach KS5 Core Religious Education and A Level
John F Kennedy Catholic School is a successful comprehensive for students aged 11-18. Our recent Section 8 Ofsted inspection in March 2017 confirmed that we remain a ‘good’ school. The Diocesan Section 48 Inspection in December 2017 judged the classroom religious education and Catholic Life of the school to be ‘good’.
