Teacher of Religious Education

All Saints is a very successful and oversubscribed 11-18 mixed Catholic Voluntary Academy, with 1328 students on roll, of whom 307 are in the Sixth Form. The school was part of a BSF major refurbishment and new build in 2011 and has excellent facilities. There has been a significant investment in new technology and a variety of learning spaces. The school has Silver Investors in People status and is committed to staff development. The Sixth Form was judged outstanding and the main school Good in the March 2014 OFSTED inspection. The school’s Section 48 Inspection in January 2016 was Outstanding.

The Governors wish to appoint a teacher of Religious Education who could support the Catholic ethos of the school. As directed by the CES, we will be delivering a GCSE based on Roman Catholic and Jewish practice.

The successful applicant will join a department committed to innovation and pupil achievement. Applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers would be welcome.
