RELIGIOUS STUDIES ‘A’ Level at Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College 

The College is seeking to appoint a well-qualified, high performing and enthusiastic individual to the post of Teacher of ‘A’ Level Religious Studies, who will lead and inspire students.  

Religious Studies is a highly successful department with ALPS scores demonstrating year on year excellent progress.  Currently nearly 100 students are studying A–level Religious Studies (OCR papers 01, Philosophy of Religion, 02 Religion and Ethics and 03 Development of Christian Thought). Ideally applicants should have a track record of outstanding success teaching A Level Religious Studies. You will have the drive and enthusiasm to provide a high quality and challenging learning experience for our students whilst also ensuring a supportive and encouraging environment. 

There is a friendly and professional atmosphere and a wealth of experience with a strong encouragement to undertake CPD. This is an exciting time to join our Outstanding College, with the opportunity to help build upon the outstanding resources initiated by the team. 

This a temporary one year fixed term position and will commence 25 August 2022
