New College Bradford, opening in September 2019, offers an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Religious Studies to teach A Level Religious Studies within our brand new state of the art facilities, set right in the heart of the city centre.
New College Bradford, will open initially with 500 students, rising to 1200 by September 2021. With significant growth opportunities, we are keen to appoint flexible staff, reflecting the fact that different posts and structures will be needed as the college grows and as student numbers within subject areas become established. For the right candidate, there may be the option to teach another A level / Level 3 subject.
You will be joining a focused and driven team at the cutting-edge of teaching and learning, with an unwavering desire to make a real difference in improving the life chances of the young people of Bradford. You will also benefit from being part of a wider team as part of the New Collaborative Learning Trust, a multi-academy trust established by New College Pontefract (an Ofsted outstanding provider).
Applications are welcomed from either those currently undertaking initial teacher training who have demonstrated outstanding potential and aptitude for post-16 teaching or from more experienced teachers with a demonstrable record of good or outstanding results. Above all, you must be able to demonstrate a passion for Religious Studies and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities in the 16-19 age range and a commitment to raising aspirations and achievement and supporting the wider college community.
