Working at Ecclesfield provides an exciting opportunity to join an experienced, supportive RPE / PSHCE team and to help to continue to develop our curriculum as we expand as a specialist department.

The successful candidate will:
• Have experience of teaching RPE and/or PSHCE.
• Attend and engage in subject specific CPD.
• Contribute to curriculum development.
• Support whole school events to promote RPE and PSHCE across school and our community.
• Have high expectations of all students at all times.
• Engage in the life of the school, support the Trust and school mission and ethos, and encourage staff and students to follow this example.
• Champion RPE and PSHCE as part of Personal Development across the school.

Located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, Ecclesfield School is a larger-than-average secondary school, educating around 1,700 pupils aged 11-16 in a co-educational setting. Originally founded as a grammar school in 1931, the school converted to academy status in 2014.

In 2013, an above average proportion of students achieved the English Baccalaureate. Students’ achievement on a range of BTEC courses is also good.”
