The successful candidate will join a team of committed and inspirational teachers who are all passionate about their subject. We are looking for excellent subject knowledge with the flair for creative science teaching.
We welcome applications from experienced and newly qualified teachers. You must demonstrate your passion for science, and in particular your specialism and be able to teach across KS3 and KS4, delivering consistently high quality lessons to pupils of all ability levels, instilling in them a love for the subject and the ability to make beyond expected progress. The ability to teach in your subject specialism at A level would be advantageous.

Children of all abilities make impressive progress throughout the key stages and Alsager is one of the highest performing schools in Cheshire East. In 2017, 72% of GCSE Physics students achieved an A/A*, 57% A/A*in Chemistry and 55% A/A* in Biology, overall 82% of students achieved grades A* -C across the separate and combined sciences. In addition our school GCSE Progress 8 score is a very impressive +0.31, putting us in the top 30% of schools nationally. The science Progress score in 2017 was a superb +0.545.
