Teacher of Science and Mathematics

The Governing Body of The Aspire Centre at King’s Leadership Academy Liverpool, part of the Great Schools Trust, is seeking to appoint a passionate, innovative teacher of Science and Mathematics to join our dedicated and growing education team.

The Aspire Centre is an alternative provision which offers a predominately mainstream education to its students and is supported by subject specialists from King’s Leadership Academy Liverpool and the Great Schools Trust. The school is awaiting its first OFSTED inspection and has guidance from nationally respected experts in the field of alternative provision.

The Aspire Centre is forward thinking and has established a scholarly community, where the pastoral support allows teachers to teach and pupils to learn. Attendance is excellent when benchmarked against other alternative provisions and the Aspire Centre has a 100% success rate when placing students into college or employment placements.

Currently housing 20 pupils on the site of King’s Leadership Academy Liverpool, the Aspire Centre is expecting to move into a purpose-built refurbished building in September 2022 which will allow it to increase its PAN to 30 pupils. Departmental resources and schemes of work are of a very high standard and support teacher work-life balance through minimal marking and research-informed pedagogy.
