The Ripley Academy is an 11-18 school located in Derbyshire close to Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield and within easy reach of the Peak District. We are a member of the East Midlands Education Trust and work in close partnership with the other academies within the Trust giving us the benefits of continuing professional development and collaboration with ‘good’ and ‘excellent’ schools.   

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and innovative Second in Science (Physics speciality preferred) for Key Stages 3, 4 and 5; someone who has the drive and determination to support the Head of Science in the vision for the school and make a significant, positive impact on our students. This post will be suitable for 2nd or 3rd year teachers who are ambitious and want to be challenged.

‘The Ripley Academy is located in Ripley, Derbyshire. The School was a founding member of the East Midlands Education Trust when it was formed in September 2014 and the Trust now has fourteen partner schools.
