This is an exciting opportunity for you to develop your teaching skills’ and work within an inspirational team of specialist fully qualified scientists. You will be joining a highly successful department; last academic year, 85% of students gained A*-C grades in Science. The department also offers A Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics in the Sixth Form and is a very popular option choice. The department is supported by three technicians, including the winner of the ‘Salters’ Science Technician of the Year.

Who are we?
We are a massively oversubscribed mixed multi-ethnic school that has had four outstanding OFSTED inspections in succession, most recently in January 2018. Students at the Compton make exceptional progress - our results routinely put the school within the top 2% of schools nationally for progress. We have recently expanded to include a new Sixth Form study base and we have been approved to open a second Compton school in 2018.
