Beths Grammar School is a large multi-cultural school on the borders between London and Kent serving a wide range of vibrant and exciting communities.  We specialise in boys' education in the main school and have a large, co-educational 6th form.

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Biology, who is looking to join a dedicated team of scientists.

This is an exciting role for a talented and ambitious teacher.

At Beths we are passionate about education and believe that we need to be inspirational to support our drive to further raise standards of achievement within the three Sciences to GCSE and towards our mixed Sixth Form to A Level.  Our outstanding Science Department has a proven track record of embracing innovative approaches to teaching and learning.

The successful applicant will be able to teach Biology to A Level and contribute to Chemistry or Physics to GCSE, the enrichment programme and support our drive to further raise standards of achievement at Beths Grammar School.

As a new member of staff, you will receive a laptop as part of your joining package.

As a Teacher of Science you will:

be an outstanding classroom practitioner/have the potential and drive to become outstanding

the ability to plan and deliver lessons which fulfill appropriate learning objectives

an enthusiasm for Science in general and Biology in particular and the ability to transmit this to students

the ability to create your own resources and willingness to share good practice with other colleagues
