Teacher of Science with Biology (0.6fte)
Required for August 2017
We wish to appoint a well-qualified, highly motivated & enthusiastic Biology specialist to join a successful department to teach Science to KS3 and Biology at KS4 and 5. The successful applicant will be highly motivated and have experience of teaching AS and A2 Biology. A Recruitment and Retention allowance may be available for a candidate with the appropriate experience to lead in Biology. An enthusiasm for teaching and learning and team work is essential. Wreake Valley is a popular mixed 11 – 19 Academy on the outskirts of North West Leicestershire. Our most recent Ofsted Inspection in 2014 graded the school as ‘Good’ in all areas. The Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will need to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS.
