St Edmund Campion School is an 11-19 Catholic school located in the north of Birmingham. We serve a very diverse community from many different backgrounds and cultures.


Following the great success of our most recent OFSTED inspection (Good with Outstanding in the sixth form) the Governors wish to appoint enthusiastic and creative teachers of science to join our expanding science department for September 2018. 


A specialism in Chemistry or Physics is preferable but a Biologist who can each Chemistry/Physics at KS4 would be considered. The successful candidate will be able to teach in Key Stages 3 and 4 and possibly Key Stage 5. However, training and support will be given to the right candidate who wishes the opportunity to teach at Key Stage 5. NQTs would also be considered for the position.


Applications are invited from teachers who have:

* A good understanding of high quality learning and teaching.

* Are motivated to ensure the best possible outcomes for all students.

* A passion for Science and the learning of Science subjects.


The department is serviced by three full time technicians, two science intervention co-ordinators and 12 science teachers. Courses are delivered across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 including A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Applied Science.
