“This outstanding school exemplifies the very best in educational provision”*
Judged ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, Yardleys is a heavily oversubscribed 11-16 multi-ethnic stand-alone academy with 900 students on roll. The School is ambitious and well managed with an inspiring learning environment. Teachers benefit from generous non-contact time, weekly training and smaller than average class sizes.
The collaborative ethos which permeates all parts of the school is summed up by our motto “Working together for a better future”. This results in a highly supportive community, which allied with excellent student behaviour and a well organised school, allows teachers to focus on their teaching and improving their practice.
The Science department is a leading area of the school and works effectively as a cohesive team, continuously sharing resources and striving to maximise student potential. We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher who believes they can make a real impact on student progress. The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and motivated team, who are committed to ensuring that our pupils continue to make excellent progress.
NQTs are very welcome to apply and will be offered the option of starting in July.
