Job overview

“This outstanding school exemplifies the very best in educational provision” Ofsted 2010

Judged ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, Yardleys is a heavily oversubscribed 11-16 multi-ethnic stand-alone academy with 900 students on roll. The School is ambitious and well managed with an inspiring learning environment. Staff and pupils are extremely welcoming and teamwork and support are highly valued. Teachers benefit from generous non-contact time, regular training and smaller than average class sizes.

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher who believes they can make a real impact on student progress. The Science faculty offers a range of courses at KS4 and enjoys excellent facilities with eight fully equipped laboratories. The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and motivated team, who are committed to ensuring that our pupils continue to make excellent progress.

Yardleys offers a commitment to professional development opportunities, an excellent induction programme, a healthcare package, well behaved students who are keen to learn and state of the art facilities.

We would welcome applications from NQTs or those with more experience.
