We are seeking an inspirational Science Teacher who has a clear understanding of how individuals absorb information and is dedicated to combining theoretical and practical learning, furthering our students in their lifelong journey of curiosity and love of knowledge.
We can offer you the opportunity to deliver a dynamic curriculum within our ambitious Science department that achieves exceptional outcomes from all year groups. As a standalone academy, we believe in our teachers being able to do the role they are employed to do, which is to deliver engaging lessons to our students. We therefore have an easy and structured behaviour system for our students and you to follow in lessons. After this, we have dedicated teams who intervene and leave you to continue with the job you love doing!

As Teacher of Science, you will be welcomed into an experienced team of professionals to:
· Progress the Science department to even greater successes
· Plan and deliver high quality and engaging lessons that will challenge and inspire our students

· Engage students in study at GCSE Level (A-Level is desirable)

The Bishop of Winchester Academy, based in Bournemouth, Dorset, is a Church of England secondary school that prides itself on its curriculum, governance and outstanding student behaviour. Students aged 11-18 experience teaching in new state-of-the-art buildings and have first-class resources at their fingertips. The school operates in an area where there are schools that select for entry on grounds of ability.
The mixed secondary school was opened in September 2010 as a sponsor-led academy. In September 2014, the Bishop of Winchester Academy extended its educational opportunities by opening its own sixth form.
