The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who will join a dynamic and committed department to teach Science across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. We are looking for a teacher who can make a significant contribution to this strong and successful department and the post is ideally suited to those looking to develop their teaching to A Level standard.
The Science Department is extremely well resourced, with state of the art facilities and a suite of new laboratories. At Key Stage 4, pupils study Triple and Double Science and the Sciences are extremely popular options in the 6th Form; many pupils go on to study the science related courses at university. As a top performing department within the College and country, pupils strive to succeed at the highest levels; last year, 97% of pupils passed Core science, 96% passed Additional Science and 60% achieved A*/A grades in the Further Additional Science course. Our A Level pass rate stands at 99% and over 60% of pupils achieved A*–B grades in A Level exams.
The successful applicant will be creative, well organised and will actively assist in the further development of Science within the College, contributing to the vibrant programme of extra-curricular support provided to all pupils. The post is suitable for NQTs and fully qualified teachers, with outstanding bespoke training programmes available to all.

Wembley High Technology College is a co-educational secondary academy based in North Wembley (Brent), for students aged 11 - 18. It is a part of the Wembley Multi Academy Trust and has an established reputation for a strong focus on academic excellence.
