Teacher of Science

The Aylesbury Vale Academy is looking to recruit a successful Teacher of Science who is passionate about their subject, communicates well with young people and makes a positive impact on their learning. This is an exciting opportunity in a rapidly improving school. We invest in staff who want to enhance the life chances of those we serve. In the school, there is a fresh new ethos and climate and it is ripe for staff to inspire students.

The person appointed will be expected to teach across the age and ability range, including the opportunity to teach A Level.

The Science Department has strong leadership and demonstrates year on year improvements in progress. The post is suitable for an experienced Teacher or an NQT.

All new staff have a quality induction programme and personalised CPD.

The Academy is at an exciting stage of development with a new experienced Executive Principal. The school moved into purpose built accommodation in September 2013 and has state of the art facilities. It is situated on the new Berryfields housing development and the roll of the Academy (with Berryfields Primary School) will increase significantly in the next few years.
