The Role

We are seeking an excellent part-time classroom practitioner to join us in our high achieving and ambitious Science department.  We are seeking both full time and part time colleagues to teach across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.  

The Department

You would be joining a Science department where students achieve grades that are significantly better than national outcomes. Our Science progress 8 score was +0.26. The quality of Science teaching and our outcomes were commended in our last Ofsted report.  

This post has arisen due to expanding pupil numbers and a member of our team leaving us to travel the world. You will be joining a dedicated team of nine Science specialists, who pride themselves on providing the highest standards of education for our students.  

Our School

We are an oversubscribed school located on the beautiful North Cornwall coast. The school was rated ‘Good’ in our last Ofsted (February 2017). We offer an exceptional working and learning environment where kindness, respect, trust and ambition play a central role in our vision.

What we're looking for

We are looking for an NQT or experienced teacher of Science. There may be the opportunity to teach A Level Science.   If you wish to apply for a part time KS5 teaching post please state this in your application.

• keen to collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for students in the Science department.
