Applications are invited from an enthusiastic, committed teacher of Science who has the ability to contribute to the continuing success of an experienced and highly successful Science team. This position would suit an experienced Teacher or an NQT with a Science background, who has the ability to teach to triple GCSE standard and have the potential to teach one A level Science,

Cedars Upper is a popular and high-performing school of 1200 students. We were graded as ‘good’ in all aspects by Ofsted in September 2013 and we are determined to now strive for ‘outstanding’.

Over the past two years we have invested over £2.5 million in new sporting, music, IT and vocational facilities and have had 3 of our Science labs refurbished.  The school enjoys a fine reputation in the area, attaining consistently excellent results. In 2016, 72% of students achieved 5 or more GCSEs at A* – C including English and maths.
