The school is at a very exciting time in its development.  The current Headteacher was appointed in January 2017 and in 2018 we were the most improved secondary school in Lancashire, our standards continue to go from strength to strength.  Our most recent Ofsted inspection in September 2021 established that the school is now firmly ‘Good’ and that safety, good behaviour and high expectations permeate every part of school life. The report also notes that; “Teachers enjoy working at the school. They feel valued and supported by senior leaders and governors.”
