Teacher of Science (Chemistry Specialism)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, well qualified and ambitious person to teach science across the full ability range at Corfe Hills School. The successful candidate will be a Chemistry specialist and be able to teach Chemistry to GCSE. The ability to teach at A level Chemistry is desirable. As a classroom practitioner you would need to demonstrate exceptional classroom practice and be able to motivate and inspire students. This will involve 100% commitment to our vision which is captured in our strapline “High Expectations | Exceptional Individuals”. 

The school has been on a significant and ambitious improvement journey over the last five years as can be seen by our excellent outcomes. We are delighted with our recent Ofsted inspection in September 2021 when we were graded good in all categories. This is a fabulous opportunity to join and lead our amazing science team whose work over the last few years has resulted in our GCSE science progress scores being in the top 15% of schools nationally.
