TEACHER OF SCIENCE (0.7 to 0.8 FTE by negotiation) 

Fixed term to cover a 2 term secondment from January 2017  

Salary: M1 £22,023 – UPS3 £37,496 FTE Equivalent)  

Required for 2 terms from January 2017, an inspirational, enthusiastic and talented professional to join our dedicated team of innovative, forward-looking professionals in the successful delivery of a stimulating Science curriculum at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.   

Situated in beautiful West Cornwall, in 2016 Humphry Davy School was one of the highest performing secondary schools in Cornwall achieving record breaking results that built upon impressive 2015 outcomes . The science faculty has an enviable reputation with excellent separate science outcomes and offer a wide range of popular extra-curricular activities.  

Ofsted (Short Inspection 2016) judged the school as remaining good and stated, “Across the school we found that pupils were very keen to learn.  Pupils we spoke with enjoy coming to school and feel that they are making good progress.  Pupils are well-mannered and keen to tell visitors how good the school is and how it keeps them safe”.
