Stoke Park School & Community College is a multi-cultural 11 – 18, co-educational comprehensive school situated in the vibrant city of Coventry, serving an inner-city catchment area. With just over 1000 students on roll we are one of the most oversubscribed schools in the area and we are proud to say we are a truly inclusive school with much diversity to be celebrated.

We are seeking to appoint a professional, creative and enthusiastic teacher of Science to join our Science Department from September 2017.
The right candidate will be a reflective, hardworking professional who combines excellent organisational and teaching skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students. You should be passionate about Science, possessing the ability to teach this subject across Key Stage 3, 4 and possibly 5.
This post is suitable for an NQT looking for their first teaching role, or a more experienced teacher looking to take on some departmental responsibility, or an experienced teacher looking for whole school responsibilities and a stepping stone into SLT.
If an NQT is successful they will have a timetable of eighteen hours a week with a full support package. We have a very successful track record in ITT and internal CPD.
The successful candidate should:
Be able to establish strong relationships with students and staff
Have high expectations of all students
Model professional standards across all areas of work
