Okehampton College is looking for a full time teacher of science to teach across all key stages. The ability to teach A-level Chemistry will be an advantage but not essential. Whether you are new to teaching or more experienced, we are looking for an outstanding practitioner who can demonstrate their drive and desire for excellence in the classroom and inspire our students.

Science is a popular and high achieving subject and we have increasing numbers opting for triple science at GCSE. We also have large numbers of students studying at least one science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology and BTEC Applied Science) at AS and A2 level, with excellent exam results.

Our Local Stakeholder Body of Governors are knowledgeable, committed and a driven group who meet regularly to discuss and evaluate our needs and progress.
