Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated science teacher who has a passion for teaching science at KS3, KS4 and KS5, enabling the progression of our students.

The Science department is a well-established, highly effective and successful department that aims to instil students with a lifelong love of scientific process and learning. The department operates in 14 purpose built laboratories teaching all sciences to KS5. A Level Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Level 3 Applied Science are all very popular options. The teachers in the department that are passionate to raise achievement and work together to provide the best teaching and learning opportunities.  The department is supported by an excellent team of technicians who provide support to aid lessons.

We welcome applications from science specialists that want to deliver high quality creative lessons to KS3, KS4 and especially KS5. The ideal candidate will be emotionally intelligent, highly motivated and will be willing to take measured risks to deliver an exciting and engaging curriculum that develops high levels of scientific knowledge and application. It is an exciting time to join our growing department. You may be an established teacher looking for a new challenge or seeking your first teaching role (ECTs).
