We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Teacher of Science who is willing to go ‘the extra mile’ for the students and school.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading Science curriculum areas. The area leads national conferences and training courses and the Head of Faculty supports a range of local schools.
Science is a hugely successful area and achieves above average GCSE results. Last year, 99% of students achieved A* to C and 46% A* to A. The schools ethos to drive teaching and learning into the 21st century is fully embraced, assisted by a fantastic and innovative science teaching space in the form of the Faraday Suite, as well as six conventional laboratories and four state-of-the-art new laboratories.
You will be fully supported both within the faculty and by the leadership team and will find students co-operative and responsive.
Our excellent staff make us outstanding. If you apply and are successful you will be supported and developed through our extensive CPD programme organised in conjunction with our teaching school. Regardless of your experience or level of responsibility you will have a range of exciting opportunities to ensure you are always improving and learning.
We welcome applications from both well qualified teachers and those who are at the beginning of their career. The key is that you are enthusiastic and capable of contributing to a highly effective and supportive Science teaching team and our extensive enrichment programme
