Pittville School is a vibrant, forward-looking and rapidly improving Foundation school in Cheltenham.  It is our belief that every young person has gifts, talents and abilities and it is our aim to recognise and unlock each child’s potential and therefore maximise their life chances.  Our priority is to work in partnership with parents and students to help them achieve the very best possible success.  We firmly believe that each student should be challenged intellectually, creatively, personally and socially in preparation for their future life.

We recognise that good relationships are at the heart of the best education.  To support high quality learning we ensure that the school has a well organised, happy, calm and disciplined environment.  We uphold the traditional values of discipline, courtesy, good manners and respect.  At Pittville School high standard of behaviour and appearance are expected both in and out of the classroom.  We do not tolerate anything or anyone that prevents learning from taking place or brings the school into disrepute.

Pittville is a smaller than average school with approximately 900 students.  We are a true comprehensive school and celebrate our diversity.  We are proud of our calm, friendly atmosphere.  Because of our size we are able to offer a level of personalised learning and pastoral support that is just not possible in some larger schools.

We look forward to welcoming you to ‘Team Pittville’ where every child really does matter.
