Job overview
We wish to appoint an outstanding and well-qualified teacher to join our friendly and supportive Science team, to teach Edexcel IGCSE Sciences. The ability to teach either Chemistry or Physics to A Level would be a distinct advantage.
The position is suitable for a NQT, a more experienced teacher or a graduate seeking a change of direction. The school offers a wealth of opportunities to develop your teaching career and offers a very supportive environment to teachers of all levels of experience.
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate effective teaching skills within the classroom and possess a good degree in either Chemistry, Physics or a related discipline.

Bedales School is an independent, co-educational, selective, day and boarding school for children aged 3-18. It is situated in Petersfield in Hampshire and there are 460 pupils on its roll. There are admission fees and scholarships and bursaries are available.
Bedales is a charitable trust and was founded in 1893 by J H Badley as a humane alternative to the authoritarian regimes of the late-Victorian public schools. Its founding ethos was, and still is, “Head, Hand and Heart.”
