Our latest OFSTED report says we are "A good School" and we are on our journey to Outstanding. We are looking for a new face to join our Science department who will further enhance our students' academic achievement and contribute to the Science team.

We are looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic, passionate and excited about teaching young people Science. You will be joining a highly supportive and developmental enviromnent where staff are encouraged to learn from each other and develop their practice. Additional responsibilities may also be available within the Academy.

Our door is open to any talented Science teacher so if you have been teaching for a while and feel the need to be re-invigorated and re-discover your passion for the subject or new to the profession, we offer a large department keen to offer support and development.

Our facilities are outstanding with a new school opened 4 years ago. We have new labs and innovative plaza spaces where you can team teach and work collaboratively, with an excellent CPD programme with opportunities for action research and gaining nationally accredited qualifications. This coupled with and an exciting programme of trips, visits, and extra-curricular activities the Academy is a vibrant and interesting place to work. As you would expect from a Microsoft innovative School you will be given a new laptop with access to range of high quality learning resources.
