Westminster City School is a successful 11-18 boys’ Christian non-denominational comprehensive academy with a mixed sixth form. Ours is a lively and vibrant learning community situated in the heart of central London with all the challenges and advantages of an inner city school. The school was judged as ‘Good’ by OFSTED in early 2013 with an outstanding curriculum and governance. We are not complacent and are pro-active in our ambition to become recognised as an “Outstanding” school.

Our GCSE outcomes in 2016 were outstanding. Science is a high performing department with 92% of pupils securing A*-C in additional science.

You like us, will share our belief in the highest standards of academic attainment in a comprehensive setting. We are therefore seeking to recruit an inspirational, professional and highly skilled teacher of Science. You will have a track record of delivering consistently good and often outstanding lessons. You will have the opportunity to teach at KS5, in KS3-4 you will be teaching across all science disciplines.

We believe in developing our staff and have a dynamic and supportive management team and an effective CPD programme which includes a regular teaching and learning forum.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers or NQTs and will consider applicants requesting to work part-time.
