We have recently celebrated our 22nd year and grown to 4 campuses with over 700 students from Nursery to Year 13. The international curriculum is inquiry-based and mirrors the EYFS and National Curriculum in England with Cambridge IGCSE and IBDP in Secondary. As a British international school, we are a proud member of COBIS and the Black Sea Schools Group.

The successful candidate will take up his/her post on 13th August 2020 at our Nivki Upper Primary and Secondary campus.

Although this is a KS3 and KS4 position, CPD will be provided to ensure the successful applicant develops skills and experience in KS5.

This is a school for teachers ready to accept the challenge of joining us on our journey to being truly great; those wanting to try new things and who see teaching as a life choice and not simply a job.

It is an exciting time for both Ukraine and our school and the best teachers will thrive in this environment.

We require our teachers to have:

•Degree and QTS (or equivalent)

•Experience of IGCSE or GCSE

•A commitment to a constructivist approach to learning

•A willingness to contribute to the life of our school as an active team member

•A genuine interest in promoting and providing quality learning and teaching

•A desire to continue to develop personally and professionally

•UK training or experience working in a British International school is a very strong advantage

Kyiv is a wonderful, accessible and vibrant city in which to live and explore. It gives easy access to other European capitals and beyond. Flight time to the UK is less than 4 hours.

We provide a very competitive salary, completion of contract payment and a benefits package which includes accommodation, a travel payment, resettlement allowance, access to CPD and medical cover.

The low cost of living means a high standard in terms of lifestyle may be maintained while still providing an outstanding opportunity to save.

Class sizes are small (<21). PPA is guaranteed.

Please use the TES online application form or send a copy of your CV and letter of application to:

'For the attention of the Principal (Kyiv)’ as the subject.
