This outstanding Academy is inviting applications from ambitious, well qualified and highly motivated candidates to teach across the full ability and age range in a very successful Science Department. Newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are welcome to apply.
Hodgson Academy has been designated as one of the first wave of National Teaching Schools. This post will add capacity in Science to help deliver our commitment to further raising attainment at Hodgson and beyond.
Results in 2015 included 77% 5+ A* - C, 71% including English & Maths and Core Science 78%
ICT within and across the curriculum is a major focus to improve standards and all teaching staff are issued with a personal laptop on appointment.
