Due to the success and growth of the Academy the Board of Directors are seeking to appoint to 

the following post: Teacher of Science – Pay Scale MPS/UPS +TLR 2B

We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher of Science to join our team and work within a demanding and fast moving Academy. The suitable applicant will have a passion for their subject and an ambition to make positive steps in their teaching career. The successful candidate will be able to make a real difference to the life chances of students at our Academy. The successful candidate will work with Director of Science to deliver the accountabilities detailed in the job description.

This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic individual who will have the opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic team from January 2020 or as soon as possible.

Science Learning Partnership Lead (1 day)

An exciting opportunity to have a regional impact on the development of science education at both Primary and Secondary phase.  The ideal candidate will be able to liaise with schools, colleges and other establishments to assess the need for science training and support.  They will schedule and promote events including face to face CPD, bespoke in-school support and regional networks.  They will be able to manage budgets and resources to ensure effective delivery of support.  The successful candidate will have a reduced teaching timetable as a number of activities involve off site participation.  It is therefore essential that any applicants have access to transport.  There is the opportunity for consultancy to be undertaken through this role.
