We wish to appoint a qualified, dynamic teacher to teach Science to GCSE with the opportunity to teach Advanced Level for a suitable candidate.

We are a newly formed 11-19 secondary school opening on 1st September 2016, following the merger of Countesthorpe Community College with Leysland High School, this is an exciting time to be joining this new College, helping to shape its future.

Science is an important Core subject at Key Stage 3, GCSE and is very popular at Advanced Level. We have some outstanding facilities and resources throughout the College. You will work with a team of committed teachers who are working hard, collaboratively, to raise standards to a high level by providing an appropriate curriculum across the three Key Stages.

This is an exciting opportunity for an NQT to establish themselves as a teacher or an experienced teacher of Science with a successful background looking for further experience.

The department has a collaborative approach and excellent teamwork amongst a committed and experienced staff. You would be extremely well supported in your role.

Countesthorpe Leysland Community College is a mixed, mainstream secondary academy with a sixth form, located in Leicestershire. It educates students aged 11-18.
