Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, innovative and inspirational teacher of Science. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated teacher and leader to join a dedicated team committed to continuous improvement.

Additional Information:          

The Science Department consists of twelve full time teachers and one part time teacher supported by two full time technicians. There are three members of staff with responsibility for leading aspects of the Department, in addition to the Curriculum Leader. Roles and responsibilities have been designed to address current needs and are constantly reviewed and updated to meet our changing profile. The team are enthusiastic and have a wide range of skills, expertise and experience which has enabled pupils to achieve impressive results at both KS3 and KS4 over the past three years.

The Department has a designated suite of 10 well resourced, spacious labs.

Each Lab is equipped with a wide range of ICT and Science equipment. There are also 2 technicians’ rooms and a department planning room.
