Teacher of Science
Stantonbury School is a large 11-18 school with 1700 students based in Milton Keynes. We are forging our path to a great school based on proud traditions, wide horizons and high achievement with our sponsor, The Griffins Schools Academy Trust.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher of Key Stage 4 Science. We are looking for a Teacher who has a proven track record of success and has a vision of how Science can further improve. The ability to teach physics or chemistry would be an advantage.
At GCSE, year 11 students follow OCR 21st century science A and year 9-10 are following the new AQA 9-1 separate sciences course. Uptake for all the Sciences at A Level is good.
If you can confidently teach Science at Key Stages 3 and 4, preferably Physics or chemistry up to A2 and motivate all students to achieve or exceed their target grades, then we would love to hear from you.
A TLR allowance would be available for the right candidate.
Applications from primary-trained colleagues, NQTS and more experienced teachers welcome. Part-time will be considered.
Closing date for applications : 15th December 2017
