Required for September 2019, a well-qualified teacher to join an outstanding Science department in this highly successful comprehensive 11-18 Catholic School.  This is an ideal post for either a newly qualified teacher or those seeking further experience in a high achieving context.  The post is for one year in the first instance.

The successful candidate would be expected to hold a relevant Science Degree or equivalent and will be expected to teach Science to GCSE and A Level with Physics as a preference. 

There are highly successful A Level courses in Biology, Chemistry and Physics within an Associated Sixth Form of over 1,100 students.

St John Fisher is a highly popular, oversubscribed school, situated in the delightful spa town of Harrogate.  It is a community based on Christian values, which serves a wide area of North and West Yorkshire.  The school has high expectations of all and an excellent reputation for academic standards and pastoral care, graded as outstanding by OFSTED.
