Royal School for the Deaf Derby is a unique provider of day and residential placements for deaf children and young people aged 3 – 19. We are committed to placing the experiences and progress of each learner at the heart of our everyday practice.
We are looking for a Science subject specialist to join our Secondary Department. You will be a Good to Outstanding practitioner with the ability to deliver creative and innovative lessons.
Teaching and learning takes place in small classes supported by highly specialised speech and language therapy, audiology, a Co-ordinator of Complex Special Educational Needs, qualified and competent Education Assistants.
Applications from Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome. The successful applicant will benefit from a personalised CPD plan including British Sign Language and the opportunity to achieve an MA including Teacher of the Deaf status.
This role is a Regulated Activity and the appointment is subject to safeguarding in recruitment checks including an enhanced criminal record disclosure.
