Job overview

Teacher of Science | September 2018 | Rugby High School

We are delighted to offer the opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher of Science to join our thriving department from September 2018 on a part time basis. At this stage there is some flexibility as to how we block lessons so we may be able to configure the days worked to fit with the successful candidate.

Science is one of our most popular subjects; our students are bright girls who are engaged with their learning and want to make the most of the opportunities available. We welcome applications from all science specialists.

Rugby High School is an 11-18 girls’ grammar school with 835 students on roll. Twice judged outstanding by Ofsted, the school has a large Sixth Form with many students going on to study science at university; between 40-50% of students accept places at Russell Group universities each year.

This post would be suitable for an NQT as well as for experienced colleagues seeking a new challenge. We offer a full induction programme, extensive professional development opportunities and a rich menu of extra-curricular activities.

• Are you enthusiastic about your subject?

• Do you want to teach bright, highly motivated students?

• Would you like to be part of an innovative, supportive team?

If so, then we might have just the job for you.
